John George Crisp was one of five sons of Mr and Mrs S. J. Crisp, of 12 Godwin Road Bromley, three of whom were serving in his Majesty’s Forces.
John was a driver in the Royal Army Service Corps. He is one of those brave men who returned safely from Dunkirk. He was educated at Raglan Road School, and for 14 years he was in the employment of Alex Tosland and Son, furnishing and decorating specialists of High Street, Bromley.
His brothers were Samuel James, Charles, Ronald and Leonard Crisp
